About the sfma Int'l Society
Ama Maestro Bernardo Fabia Salinas founded the Society of Federated Martial Arts in honor
of the late Legendary Master Mauricio Fabia,
to provide martial artist in local community and around the globe with forum through which their voice maybe heard, in order to promote and preserve the integrity of their martial arts. The goal is to unite all interested martial artists to share our combined knowledge, dedication, and respect for our martial arts. There are many who study martial arts whom we never get to meet, and this society began in an effort to recognize, honor, and respect this martial artist. Using the Internet, we can make the world much smaller, and bring together the martial artists that will build the unity of the martial arts brotherhood.
Our society wishes to promote the values of dedication, positive role modeling, respect, and leadership, especially for the youth of our communities. While we believe that any individual of any age can make positive contributions to the martial arts, we want to help our youth begins to focus on serving their communities with humanity of service and dedication of spirit. Service begins in the heart without demanding recognition, and will be manifested in deed and spirit toward people around us.
The Society will promote and continually work towards accomplishing the following goals and objectives:
- To create an international network for the study and sharing of martial arts knowledge that will foster and preserve the integrity, cultural, and traditional roots of each respective arts.
- To create a philosophy that enables Society members to expand their sense of unity.
- To encourage, teach and train individuals interested in martial arts knowledge.
- To collect and preserve historical data related to martial arts.
- To make martial arts information electronically available to any interested party
- To create and maintain a standard of excellence that will govern the induction of individuals into the SFMA Int'l Recognition Award .
